Privacy

This site is built to know as little about you as possible. Here is everything it stores.

If you subscribe

When you sign up for the weekly email, the site stores your email address, the date you signed up, and which guide you signed up from (if any). It is used only to send you one open-source tool or tech hack a week. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Anonymous counts

To see which guides are useful, the site counts page views of guides and clicks on Instagram, Buy and Source links. Each count stores only the type (view or click), the guide, the link that was clicked, and the time.

• No cookies, and no local storage identifiers.
• No IP addresses and no browser or device details are stored.
• Nothing links a count to you or to your email address.

Instagram videos

Guides don't load anything from Instagram until you tap "Tap to load video". If you do, Instagram's player loads and Instagram's own privacy policy applies to it, including any cookies it sets.

Links to other sites

Buy and Source links go to other websites, which have their own privacy policies. If a guide contains affiliate links, it says so on the page.

How to unsubscribe

Send a direct message to @ctx.harness on Instagram with the address you signed up with, and it will be deleted from the list. Every weekly email also includes an unsubscribe link.

Where data is stored

Signups and counts are stored in a Supabase database. Data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted.
